Prologue

Aruu!” he called out.

The room shifted.

Rehaan Agnivanshi, heir of the Agnivanshi legacy and the one name that echoed through every business corridor in India, ran straight to his little sister.

He enveloped her in a tight embrace.

“Are you hurt anywhere? He asked, his voice rough with emotions.

Aaravi hugged him tightly. “No, Bhaiya. I promise, I’m really fine.”

(No, brother. I promise, I’m really fine.)

He let out a deep sigh and gently stroked her hair. Then, instinctively, his eyes moved to the side, a girl standing beside her.

Their eyes met.

Aashvika.

Rehaan blinked at her.

No flicker of recognition. No shock. No pain.

Aaravi, unaware of what was happening, smiled between them. “Bhaiya, she is Aashvika Bansal- the girl who saved me today.”

“And Aashvika di” she added excitedly “this is my elder brother, Rehaan Agnivanshi.”

Aashvika smiled politely, but her heart raced inside her.

Rehaan Agnivanshi

The name everyone admired.

But she had only known Ahaan.

Her Ahaan.

A boy from her past.

The one she hadn’t seen in a decade.

No… this couldn’t be him… She would’ve recognized him. Right?

Rehaan, on the other hand, gave her a polite nod. “Thank you… Miss Aashvika.”

To him, she was just a stranger.

The name “Aashvika” had once belonged to someone who lived in his heart.

But his mind refused to accept the fact that he knew her.
